Accepted Residents must be able to care for their own daily needs such as eating, hygiene, mobility and the ability to understand and follow safety instructions. They can not be a danger to themselves or others and can not be a sex offender.
A Boarding Home is a single family structure (house) that has shared bathrooms, private bedrooms & semi-private bedrooms. The bathrooms are of the size, shape, & number to meet the needs of all Residents. The living room, dining room, reading or game rooms are for common use. A laundry room or service is provided. There is a full time house monitor on site at all times. Medications are locked in personal lock boxes or in a provided space with Resident access as requested.
Rent for Room & Board includes all hygiene supplies, linens, laundry, utilities, transportation, social interactions, Cable TV, phone, shopping trips, outings and preparation of meals and snacks.
Rent is income based using a predetermined sliding scale. Applicants are screened to ensure they meet the criteria established for Residency.
